10 to 10 for 10
Three young carers from Winchester were amongst a select few who visited No 10 Downing Street and met Baroness Morgan of Drefelin, Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Children, Young People and Families), on Wednesday 17 June 2009.
Carers from neighbouring Andover and also from Ilford in Essex spent a day in London enjoying the sights before having a guided tour of the Prime Minister's residence. They came away with a letter from Gordon Brown to carry to the Young Carers Festival the next week.

Another highlight of an unforgettable day was a flight on the world-renowned London Eye, just across the Thames from the Houses of Parliament. In fact so successful was the visit that everyone was invited back for a tour of the Houses of Parliament on 14 July.
